First bottle had unexpected aroma, unlike the #10 batch witch is the basis for this recipe. Very little carbonation, taste very sweet, like tea.

Second bottle: Not much carbonation on opening, same overly malted taste.

First impression - 10A is a bust.

I like the way this recipe has been tweaked. The dry hoppped EKG is subtle but present. Nicely balanced beer with delicious caramel, malty flavor and clean yeast profile. The trademark beer of Wolfseye?

My second "oops" batch. Same stupid mistake with chilling the newly bottled batch.

I like the 10A, the dry hops adds a sharpness that 10 lacked. But I prefer the simple nature and great taste of 10.

Tried it 8 May- EKG is hard to detect to me- I don't know if EKG is good for dry-hop or not. But overall definitely a winner beer.

Right now I think the Old Bolshie series (includes 10, 10a and others) is the 'trademark beer' of Wolf's Eye.
